The climate of Bali

The climate on Bali is ideal: warm, but not too warm. And plenty of rain to take care of a overwhelming growth.

Monsoon climate

Bali has a tropical monsoon climate. The island lies close to the equator, therefore its always warm and knows frankly only 2 seasons: Dry and rainy. The average temperature is through the years  almost the same although, there is a difference between the day and night temperature during the day 28° C and at the night 22° C average. The seawater temperature remains almost the same through the year at 28° C.

It’s hard to pin-point what the average local situations is. The dry season is from April until November , the so called ‘rain period’ is characterized by short overwhelming rainfall during the months November through April (the monsoon). During the ‘dry’ months there exists still a possibility of a pretty amount of rainfall. When it rains the rainfall is short but fears. Like everywhere in the tropics the rain falls most of the time in the late afternoon or in the evening , the mornings are mostly clear and sunny.
